Pennies for Patients

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest non-profit health organization dedicated to finding cures for blood cancers.  Leukemia is the cancer that kids, teens, and young adults get the most and causes more deaths than any other cancer in these age groups.

During the month of February, VPE students will be joining other schools taking part in the LLS Pennies for patients drive.  Students will bring home a box especially designed to collect spare change for this worthy cause.

Students will learn about service, leadership, and philanthropy by helping LLS find a cure for blood cancers and improving the quality of life of patients and their families.

You can also donate in the form of a check made payable to Vance-Providence Elementary School  Thank you in advance for helping us with our community service project!
